The Suburban Collection would like to congratulate the Great Charity Giveaway donation recipients. For the month of August, registered charities who met the qualifications set for this giveaway, sought for the votes of the public. The Final Round Top 10 standings are as follows:

2.    Cass Community Social Services ($5,000)
3.    Friends For the Dearborn Animal Shelter ($3,000)
4.    Grace Centers of Hope ($1,000)
5.    Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America - Michigan Chapter ($1,000)
6.    The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan ($1,000)
7.    Angels' Place ($1,000)
8.    Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan ($1,000)
9.    Forgotten Harvest ($1,000)
10.    Arts & Scraps ($1,000)

Charitable giving has been a part of The Suburban Collection culture for more than 60 years, each year we support more than 80 charities in greater Detroit. The Great Charity Giveaway was an opportunity for our customers and friends in the community to choose the charities to receive the next donations.

Over 100 charities registered in the Great Charity Giveaway - any charity could take the lead. In the first round of voting, over 100 charities were narrowed to 10.  In the final round, those 10 charities were then voted for once again, and placed in their donation amount order. The charities involved received support from their following, our customers, friends, and family.
