The Suburban Collection announced the acquisition of their newest automotive dealership in the Detroit market - Suburban Buick GMC.  The modern 40,000 sq. ft. facility is located at 21800 Woodward Avenue on the east side of Woodward and includes a large, modern showroom, waiting areas for customers and new service bays.

The dealership, formerly Fresard Buick GMC, was acquired from the Fresard family and currently employs 60 people.  The dealership had operated in Royal Oak for more than three decades, relocating in 2007 to a brand new building on Woodward Ave., which will now belong to the Suburban Collection.

Rick Perry was named General Sales Manager of Suburban Buick GMC.  He was previously the Sales Manager at Suburban Chevrolet of Ann Arbor.

This new sales facility is the 27th dealership location in Metro Detroit for the Suburban Collection, which is the 13th largest dealer group in the US and includes dealerships in Florid and California. The company employs more than 1,600 people nationwide.
