ANNOUNCES NAMING RIGHTS PARTNER IN MICHIGAN-BASED SUBURBAN
COLLECTION
NOVI,
Mich. - The Rock Financial Showplace has a new partner and a new name -
the Suburban Collection Showplace. The announcement was made at a press
conference at the venue today by Blair Bowman, Showplace owner and
David T. Fischer, Suburban Collection Chairman and CEO.
The Showplace and Suburban Collection have entered
into a new, multi-year, multi-million dollar agreement for exclusive
naming rights of the 320,000 square-foot landmark conference and expo
center, located on Grand River Avenue, west of Novi
Road.
"The Suburban Collection, with its
much-respected reputation, long history in Michigan and commitment to
community were exactly what we were seeking in a new business partner,"
said Bowman. "We couldn't be more pleased."
"We are
proud to lend our name and tradition to this outstanding venue," said
Fischer. "The high-profile nature of this facility coupled with nearly
limitless promotional and cross-promotional opportunities will make our
partnership a 'win-win' for all involved - including for Showplace
visitors, our Suburban Collection customers and the area
community."
A new logo denoting the new name was also
unveiled today at the event. New signage, including marquees along I-96
and Grand River Avenue, are expected to be in place by early
2011.
