The Genesis G70 has brought home yet another award, toping the compact premium segment in J.D. Power Multimedia Quality ratings.

J.D. Power has spent decades combing through the various aspects of vehicles to make informed recommendations for consumers. Now, J.D. Power has set its sights on analyzing a newly ubiquitous feature in the auto industry: multimedia technology. From smartphone integration to satellite navigation, multimedia features have become standard expectations in the modern industry.

As expected, J.D. Power set out to track long-term quality and reliability among multimedia technologies in new models. The resulting studies analyzed frequency of problems per 100 cars sold. The new Genesis G70 had the fewest multimedia problems among compact premium vehicles by 28%.

"We are always striving to bring meaningful technological innovations into our cars. So, receiving this recognition from industry leader J.D. Power reinforces our commitment to deliver the best ownership experience to customers through our focus on incredible audio entertainment and effortless communication and navigation systems,” said Erwin Raphael, COO, Genesis Motor America.
