Funding Requests
To be considered for a charitable donation of support, begin by submitting a letter of intent. This letter should be no longer than 2 pages and must include the following:
- Summary statement answering who you are, how much is being requested, for what purpose the funds will be utilized, and which of our charitable pillars this falls under.
- Statement of Need (Why)
- Project Activity (What and How)
- Outcomes
- Credentials (Why is your organization best equipped to offer this program)
- Budget (General description; line item budget not required at this time)
- Contact information
In addition to the LOI,
you are also required to provide your organization's most recent 990 and a list of your current Board of Directors. Please email the LOI and required documents to Angela Wilhelm. All documentation must be submitted in order for us to consider your organization for funding. If you have any questions, please contact Angela at 248-731-3366.
Your Letter of Intent will be evaluated in the order it is received and you will be notified of the outcome. If you are selected to continue the application process, a full proposal will be required. The Suburban Collection may request a meeting with applicants invited to submit a full proposal.
